Hey! I'm Gilberto — I build software that matters.
I'm a Tech Lead and Full Stack Developer with over 19 years of hands-on experience delivering complex systems across AI, blockchain, wearable health technology, and government platforms. I currently live in Florida, USA and work remotely with teams around the world.
Right now I lead an AI-powered lean manufacturing platform at Venturus, coordinating a cross-functional team from architecture all the way to production. I also teach Mobile Development with React Native at university level — because I genuinely love sharing what I know.
Before that, I spent 5 years at Samsung Electronics building global-scale biometric data pipelines for Samsung Health — think millions of Galaxy wearable users worldwide. I've also architected blockchain traceability systems at CITS using Hyperledger Fabric, led 7+ years of e-government development for Amazonas State, and published academic research on AI and climate prediction in the Amazon basin.
I speak Portuguese (native), English (advanced) and Spanish (good). I hold an MBA in Software Engineering, an MBA in Information Security, and I'm finishing a Master's in Strategic Management in Software Engineering at Universidad Europea del Atlántico.
